Behavioral Health provides services for individuals in crisis, for youth, for Transitional Age youth, for adults and for alcohol and drug treatment.

Accessing Care:

If you need immediate assistance or in a crisis: Please call our office any time 1-888-530-8688 or 530-251-8108 or go to your local Emergency Room.  If you are in a life-threatening emergency situation, dial   9-1-1.

Need Behavioral Health or Substance Abuse Services?

You can walk in at our location at 555 Hospital Ln, Susanville, CA to start the registration process. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm with Registrations available Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:00 pm. Excluding Weekends or Holidays.

If you have any questions, please call 1-888-530-8688 or 530-251-8108.

Once your registration has been completed, you will then be scheduled for a Behavioral Health assessment by our clinician.


If you or someone you know has a mental illness, is struggling emotionally, or has concerns about their mental health, there are ways to get help. Use these resources to find help for you, a friend, or a family member.

National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

The Lifeline is a free, confidential crisis hotline that is available to everyone 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Lifeline connects callers to the nearest crisis center in the Lifeline national network. These centers provide crisis counseling and mental health referrals. People who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have hearing loss can contact the Lifeline via TTY at 1-800-799-4889.

The Crisis Text hotline is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the U.S. The Crisis Text Line serves anyone, in any type of crisis, connecting them with a crisis counselor who can provide support and information.

Veterans Crisis Line

The Veterans Crisis Line is a free, confidential resource that connects veterans 24 hours a day, seven days a week with a trained responder. The service is available to all veterans, even if they are not registered with the VA or enrolled in VA healthcare. People who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have hearing loss can call 1-800-799-4889.

Disaster Distress Helpline

The disaster distress helpline provides immediate crisis counseling for people who are experiencing emotional distress related to any natural or human-caused disaster. The helpline is free, multilingual, confidential, and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

 

Clinic Services

The main clinic provides: Adult and Children's Services Assessment, Individual Therapy, Group Therapy, 24-Hour Crisis Response, Case Management Services, Medication Support, Therapeutic Behavioral Services, Rehabilitation Services, and Adult Socialization.

Bilingual staff and/or interpreters are available at no charge.

Crisis Intervention

All programs provide a full array of culturally competent and linguistically proficient counseling services, medication support, family advocacy, case management, and rehabilitation. Substance Use Disorder Information

If you need Substance Use Disorder Information please contact Carelon at (855) 765-9703, available 24 hours, seven days a week. Carelon counselors are ready to help you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A trained health care provider or drug and alcohol counselor will do a screening over the phone. You will be connected to a treatment provider during the call and be offered access to treatment providers in your area.
